Porcelain Veneers San Juan Capistrano, CA

A Porcelain veneer is an extremely natural looking dental restoration that covers the outside or visible surface of teeth. They are thin laminate shells of porcelain that are bonded over the front surfaces of your teeth to change or correct the appearance of your natural teeth. A veneer can change shape and color of a tooth as well as hide defects. It is bonded into place and cannot be taken off. Porcelain Veneers are an excellent, conservative, non-surgical option to improving the aesthetics of your smile.

Porcelain Veneers provide the strength and flexibility of natural tooth enamel and can last for years if cared for properly.  Porcelain Veneers are stain resistance, and therefore do not stain when drinking liquids such as coffee, tea, or wine. Unlike crowns, the Porcelain Veneer process only requires removal of a very small amount of enamel, preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

The process usually takes 3 visits, with Dr. Kim doing an initial smile evaluation in the first visit to determine what steps are necessary to achieve the smile you desire.
